Satprerna Plantation

26 Sep , 2015

Satprerna sewa trust is actively indulged in provoking activity of plantation among public, and motivating them to plant more and more trees,

Our organisation is spreading knowledge about plantation in public so people join hands together and this act can achieve a global stage in people around world,

Let’s start with very basic step for example :-

How does planting trees help the environment?

Why planting trees is important to reduce global warming?

This is what we are precisely going to talk about. Read on and find the answers about the many benefits of planting trees.

According to the environmental protection agencies, planting trees is a must if we want to save our planet. Trees not only remove harmful chemicals from the soil, but also help reduce the greenhouses leading to global warming. Go on and see how planting trees helps the environment.

Advantages of planting trees in reducing global warming

  1. An average size tree creates sufficient oxygen in one year to provide oxygen for a family of four.
  2. Planting trees in the right place around buildings and homes can cut air-conditioning costs up to 50 percent.
  3. Planting trees for the environment is good as they are renewable, biodegradable and recyclable.
  4. If we plant 20 million trees, the earth will get with 260 million more tons of oxygen.
  5. Once acre of trees can remove up to 2.6 tons of Carbon Dioxide each year.
  6. During photosynthesis, trees and other plants absorb carbon dioxide and give off oxygen.
  7. Trees keep in cheek the air and water pollution.
  8. Why planting trees is important is evident as they are the natural habitat of the animals and birds, as well as many endangered species.
  9. Planting trees means more wood and paper products which can be easily recycled.
  10. A newly planted whole forest, can change tones of atmospheric carbon into wood and other fibrous tissue, thus reducing global warming.

So, start digging immediately if you have the means to plant a tree. There are still too few of them to fully offset the changes brought about by global warming. Automobile traffic, manufacturing and other human activities are playing havoc with our environment. Reduce global warming simply by planting trees for the environment,

So let’s take oath together to plant as much we can  tree and motivate our relatives, neighbors and other people to plant trees and make our world a beautiful world. . .

Body Servicing Day

26 Sep , 2015

What is meant by Body Servicing?

Giving rest to bodily organs (Stomach, Intestine, Liver, etc.) by not eating food for a day or two in a month in order to rejuvenate it and bring health, vigor and vibrance to the body has been termed as body servicing.

Why Body requires Servicing?

Body is like a machine- its bodily parts and organs work tirelessly day and night. Our external body parts get rest while we sleep, however our internal organs are working even at night to digest & processing of food. Like a machine requires servicing- washing, greasing, oiling etc. of its parts to increase efficiency and make it last longer, Similarly our inner organs also require purification and relaxation to make them work in a healthier way.  The process of digestion leads to accumulation of acids and undigested food particles in the body. These need to be eliminated from time to time for healthy functioning & rejuvenation. The best & a free way to achieve this is ‘fasting’.

Scientifically speaking fasting atleast twice a month helps in proper cleansing of body.

When should Fasting be done ?

Fasting is a very integral part of many religions. Individual observe kinds of fast based on personal beliefs & customs. Traditionally, an important fasting day known as Ekadashi also is observed twice a month by many. Lord Narayan has granted the boon that anyone who fasts on Ekadashi will be free from sin & attain transcendental abode. Ekadashi falls on the 11th day of every lunar fortnight.

Food that can be consumed on Fast

Ekadashi Fasting generally means stay away from both food and drinks (other than water). Therefore we stay away from the toxins provided by regular food. It is believed that demon dwells in rice therefore rice should be strictly avoided.  However in case of partial abstinence the food that can be consumed on this day includes fresh and dried fruits, sweet potato, potato, coconut, milk products and nuts. Also ‘farali food’ like ‘Moraiya’ etc can be eaten by those who cannot observe strict fast.

Not applicable for expectant mothers, old aged & sick persons.

Benefits of Fast

1) Ekadashi Fast helps to improve the working of digestive, respiratory, circulatory, urinary system.

2) It prevents and cures illnesses and diseases as it helps in the detoxification of the body and  cleansing of bowel system

3) In Brahma-vaivarta Purana it is said that one who observes fasting on Ekadashi is freed from all kinds of reactions to sinful activities and advances in spiritual life.
